How many students are in each class?

Class is one on one (private lesson)

Do I have to pay in advance?

No, you can pay class by class. However, it is better to reserve your spot in advance and it is cheaper to purchase a package

How long is class?

30 minutes long, unless otherwise specified

What do I need to bring to class?

A towel, sunscreen, and goggles (if you have them)

Swim diaper for small children

How many lessons does it take to learn to swim?

Every student is different but on average 8-12 classes

Do I need to get in the water with my students?

No, you are not required to get in the water

Do you offer refunds?

Refunds are offered in select situations

What equipment should I plan to get for my child?

Googles, and swimsuit

How often should we take lessons?

At least once a week, twice a week is best

What days and times are classes offered?

Everyday 9a-6:30p

What ages do you offer classes to?

I teach to ages 6 month to adult

Is it okay for me to use the pool or hot tub during my student’s lesson?

Yes, this is your paid time, so the pool and amenities are yours to utilize.  

Is it okay for siblings to come during my students’ class?

Yes, please just be mindful of distractions

Is the pool heated during classes?

Yes, pool is set to 88-92 degrees (based on outside temperature)

Do you work with children with water trauma and or disabilities?

Yes, I have worked with all skill levels, and all learning abilities. Swimming is a physical skill and almost anyone can learn to swim. The time to master these skills vary for each student.

Should I wear a life jacket or floats during lessons?

No, all needed equipment will be provided at class

What kind of training and experience do you have?

I am First aid, CPR, CPO, and AED certified

I am a certified swim instructor with 15 years professional experience. I also have worked with all ages and all skill levels.

Do you teach water survival skills?

Yes! That is where we start for all classes, unless specified otherwise

Am I able to watch the lesson?

Yes, absolutely! It is encouraged, but not mandatory.

Do I have to stay during my child’s lesson?

You are not required to stay during class however, I do ask you are back 5 minutes prior to class ending.

Ex. If class is 4p-4:30p, please return by 4:25p
